This is often controlled by the carrier. On my Lumia 928 on Verizon, the Amber update brought a new app for blocking calls and/or sms messages. But for Verizon customers this app is disabled. Widely reported issue. Verizon makes $4.95/month/phone for blocking numbers for you.

Agreed. That said I am presently in Europe on business. The "Spam Calls" I'm getting is unnerving (Especially at 3am here).

If Blackberry doesn't get on broad here and make this function available to the developers it's gonna be Bye Bye Blackberry for me.

The ability to block calls from specific numbers or groups of numbers is important to me. It's something that I really appreciated having on my 9900.

Exactly! If I could have just one more app on my Q10, it would be a call blocker. I hope Blackberry gives developers the ability to create a good call blocking app soon (please!).
