    I get the same message for the same app also. Other apps will update no problem. I am on Bell mobility if that makes a difference. Have tried phone restart with no change. Wonder if deleting the app altogether and reinstalling would fix the issue?

    It's happening to me too, with the same app. I suspect that we all downloaded the app when it was free, and now that it is a paid app, we are unable to update. Possible? Did you all download it when it was free?

    This happened to me in the past when I beta tested an app for free, but afterwards tried to upgrade to a paid version. Had to delete and reinstall (and pay!).

    Would really suck if that is the case here...

    This is an open issue that we are facing. We have written to BlackBerry World team and are working to resolve it. For now do not uninstall the app to try and re-install it since it won't download. As soon as we hear back we will reply on this forum.

    This is the email I received from [email protected]

    There has been a problem in updating version 3 of Max Mobile Security to version 4 because of the network error. We have spoken to the BlackBerry World team and they have said that since the free downloads of the app haven't generated a* Purchase Record for them they are unable to give the update thus network error is showing.

    If you want to pay and upgrade to version 4 you can follow these steps:

    1. Uninstall the app.

    2. Search for the app in BlackBerry World and purchase it. (If it still shows installed you can uninstall it via BB world-> My World-> My apps and games)

    Just use the old (free) version. Seems to work. The database appears to update.
