Are you sure? You're saying BlackBerry makes all the apps, not the developers? I wouldn't want to bet on that; I'm pretty sure the developers supply the apps, not BlackBerry.

No, they don't make all the apps. But they do make the Facebook app. Go to app world and check the developer for it. Spoiler alert, it's Blackberry

I've had several issues over time with Facebook as well. Sometimes the notifications cease to work, along with chat, until I reboot. And though I haven't had this particular issue in a while, in very active group chats I've had the app bug out completely, failing to load any new messages after a while. Only way to fix any of it is to reboot. Sometimes push notifications are delayed significantly as well, with no way to fix it apart from having the Facebook active frame open all the time.

Now having said that, about 90% of the time everything works fine. But it's that remaining 10% that can get quite irritating, especially if I have to reboot my device while I'm on the go just to continue a Facebook conversation.

So I've been searching for the problem I've been having with the FB app, and so far I haven't found anyone who has had the same problem.. For me, I have never been able to use the Hub integration for the FB app... Absolutely Never... the options are grayed out in the settings, and even after reinstalling the BBW app, as the note suggests in the settings when you first set up the FB account, nothing! ..since day one.. From most of what I read, people say that it stops working, or it works but is faulty in some way.. but so far I've never read a post that states the Hub integration has just never worked to begin with.

Maybe someone here can help?? Point me in the right direction.. Z30 on Verizon, 10.2.0.1223. Software release .262. Thanks!

I had issues on 10.2 with FB, they were cured on the upgrade to 10.2.1 and an upgrade to the Blackberry app itself. The whole trying to open in the hub and it not and returning, there are some old threads on here dealing with it. You may wish to look at them until you upgrade to the current stable release OS.

The Facebook app itself, I detest it, massively. The top story feature does NOT work for me, I just want to see my time line in date posted order.

Everything else works fine for me, apart from picture posting on comments.

In all honesty, I rarely use FB now but when I do, I get off it pretty quick as I remember why I hardly use it in the first place.

This FB app is getting annoying. It hugs the cpu up to 50% and drains the battery. I tried once to leave it overnight and plugged in... next morning it still doing nothing and using 48-50% cpu

Have you set it to most recent or newest or whatever on your desktop Facebook? The app uses whatever order you have chosen in the desktop website. So log into it from your computer and choose how to order your Facebook. Your app should follow.

I have to reset my FB on my desktop from top stories to most recent on a daily basis. It is very frustrating. That part is fb's fault for not saving our preferences...once chosen it should stick!!The thing is, the android FB app is able to change that setting within the app which is much more useful to me. BlackBerry needs that kind of functionality inside their app too.

I've had this problem with Twitter since the beginning. It has never worked for me in the HUB. Facebook on the other hand has been working quite good I must say.
