@ XLabs - this is a deal breaker for me: Is it possible to sync the content in my PlayBook Groovy Notes with the app on the Z10?
9000 > 9800 and now BB Z10 and 32GB PlayBook glued to my person!

Hi! You can Backup your data from your PlayBook to Dropbox and Restore that to your Z10 and vice versa. However, please note that automatic sync is currently not supported in GroovyNotes.

Ah yes - just as I thought. Any plans for auto sync now that you might have many users with GN on both devices?

Auto sync is a tricky feature but once we have critical mass on both the devices (PlayBook and Z10) we will be looking at the feasibility of implementing it.

Why are they so slow. Startup time is ridiculous. Are they native or Android ports?

They are all native apps not Android ports. Can you let us know which specific apps of ours you are referring to? Please email us at support@xlabz.com and we will be glad to help.

Thanks guys - look forward to auto sync! To echo the above poster, on the PlayBook at least, I've always noticed that GN is slow in booting up. The App is not the best when it comes to touch responsiveness either. It sometimes needs more than one touch to press a button - but maybe it's just me...

Just bought Weather+HD last night, but the wrong weather is being reported for my city and a close neighboring one. Both are found in the search. Anyone know what the source of the weather data is in this app? Wiarton, Ontario Canada is 0 deg Celsius today, but Weather+ is reporting -9.

    Hi!
Weather+ relies on data from World Weather Online® - Global weather forecast and weather content provider to provide you the weather conditions. This is one of the most popular weather data services and is used by almost all the weather apps.

The weather data is refreshed once every hour for each location. It is possible that at times the weather data returned from the service may be from an earlier time and hence the difference. Also the weather data between 2 different services can vary. We assume that the disparity you mention might happen only on rare occasions. We therefore suggest that you use the application for a couple of days and if you find that there is often a discrepancy, please do report back to us and we shall look into the matter.

So much for customer loyalty. I get it that you worked to re-develop your apps but you don't even offer a loyalty discount (as Files and Folders did, also noting significant redevelopment efforts). If users are out of pocket $.99 here or $3.99 there, it doesn't sound like much. But it adds up when users have to re-purchase several or sometimes dozens of apps. I have ProInsights on my PlayBook, but I'm not paying again to get it on my Z10. I'm also not going to purchase any additional apps from your company because of your position regarding re-purchasing (I was looking at Bird Calls, Dictionary+, and Uber Iris).

What's missing from the dictionary app for me is the ability to send a definition from the app to someone via text message or BBM. I also find it a tad slow or hesitant in functionality but that's certainly not a deal breaker for me. I like the integration of Wikipedia that's been added.

Likewise, I bought a whole bunch of their apps on the playbook during the big sale they held around Christmas assuming they would work on the z10.
