The latest version won't work (assuming that's what you sideloaded), aTorrent for Playbook and BB10 - Essential Playbook and BB10 Apps | Android APP Store - Blackberry Playbook & Z10 and Q10 Apps, this version works fine for me. Public trackers are a breeze. Private ones may or may not work. (TorrentLeech didn't, but TorrentDay did)

If you open the app and then proceed to get the Android player bar up, click the 3 dotted button for it to open the apps options. The first option you will see is "Add Torrent"

I'll include a screen shot incase my text did not make sense (it's late where I am! )

Mine was reasonably fast but I'm with you on the background thing. Having to tap the screen every five minutes is brutal

I think we'll run into some piracy issues as I believe it was originally a paid app. TorrentBerry is a promising option but doesn't run on my Q10. I was able to compile the code and didn't see anything obvious in the debugger. Completely new to BB10 development so that's the extent of my capabilities for now.

Ttorrent works amazingly well for me. And with the new leak you can use magnet links from the Web.

Kinda sad IMO that the dev here would rather just let his work go to waste than either finding a way to monetize the app or turn it over to Open Source.

What sucks is if you didn't have a backup, now this paid app is lost for good. Seriously developer should at least have put app in a drop box for those with licenses to at least get a copy after using an autoloader to update their Z-10.
