    Default BBM/whatsapp

If whatsapp doesn't bring its app to bb10 maybe it is time to take BBM cross-platform.

Stop trolling. Where's the mod that will shut down every poster that makes this non-sensical suggestion...

    Default BBM/whatsapp

Whatsapp works flawlessly side loaded. People are making a big deal over nothing.

But it would be hard to side load for people who don't know how to do it. (For example me)

Ya, sideloading's fine for a very small group of people; you can't expect everyone to sideload apps onto BB10 devices. That's why I hope RIM's getting folks like Flipboard, Pulse, etc. to either do a native app or just drop the android version on BB10 through BB world (since these work fine on sideloading). Frankly, I think RIM needs to do a better job persuading the big shops to drop Android apps into BB10 if they are unwilling to spend the money on native development. It's not the best solution, but better than launching the platform without the big name applications.

I'm not side loading a thing. There will be someone else to take their place.

I hope whatsapp will be at launch. What would be really cool is if RIM manages to integrate most big messaging services into BBM on BB10 so I use BBM but I have all friends and family in one messaging place no matter what service they use.
