Yes it's there and I have done it by mistake. Can't tell you what it's like on the other end tho.

It works just like it did on BBOS. On both sides. I PING and have been PINGed.

I don't see ping anywhere other than when someone pings me and all I see is the red ping. I can remember in BlackBerry OS you could go to settings and see the option of enabling or disabling ping but now nothing. If its not going to work well they should remove it
