Same problem, maps update basically killed the app. Had to revert to the original maps app: downloaded and installed it with the Sachesi tool..

Same here. Installed update and now won't open. However, it's not fallen much from where it was, actually. All weekend I tried to use it in Portland Oregon (no lack of signal coverage), and it simply didn't work: the spinning blue circle would just sit there spinning when I entered an address, and only rarely would the map render. Very, very frustrating.

Also, the turn-by-turn directions for BeMaps Pro uses the native Maps app, so that eliminates that functionality (that was happening all weekend too).

hmmm from what I hear. This comes with 10.2 & has no problems. However some people installing on 10.1 are having issues.....I think I will just wait & see if the update is recalled.

Works fine for me on my Z10 running 10.1.0.4181, but crashes on my wife's Z10 running 10.1.0.273. I didn't get hers updated before Rogers pulled the update.

Nope doesn't work for me either. Using Sachesi to get the original back. Clue not to use it may be it did not appear in my notifications.

Dang. I use BlackBerry maps every single day. Now what???? And since you can't delete the app, at least from the phone, what are my other options?
