    Default Barclays Mobile Banking App Z30

    I have just been told by Barclays that their mobile banking app should work with the Z30! I am somewhat sceptical that this can be the case but are there any Z30 owners out there that could confirm this?

    As far ias I know - Barclays have not developed an app for BB10. I have been asking for the past 9 months and get fobbed off each time.

    Yes me too, keep asking periodically, today one of those occasions. This is what i was told, I was pretty sceptical myself...

    Last time I asked they said they are not developing for BlackBerry 10 .
    Android ones don't work as they recognize BlackBerry 10 as a rooted device (on 10.2.1)

    I phoned and was told the application is in testing. They tried a port but couldn't secure it so the process is ongoing apparently. He told me they have recently had a lot of requests so they are working on it.
    This was from barclays technical team so only relaying what I've been told.

    I have the Android version (US) installed via Snap on my Z10, and it works fine.

    Z10 - 10.2.1.2941 (3175/3140)

    Maybe going into "pest mode" might irritate them enough to actually get off their fat, complacent arses and get on with the project in hand!

    I think I have good news. My Blackberry Account manager has manged to get confirmation that it has been built and is currently in testing. Release date is scheduled for late Q3 early Q4. Not great as myself and a number of my enterprise customers are keen to have it after i migrated to BB10 for the whole company...

    I really hope that is true. I contacted them recently to express my disappointment and they ended up turning it into a complaint (which I didn't request), however the chap that contacted me said he had checked and there were no development plans at present.

    As I said I hope he is wrong but I won't hold my breath!

    I've contacted them a number of times as well, I am also ex staff so i have put calls out to some contacts within the company and they have also come back with the same date. here's hoping
