Is coming to Blackberry10
They confirmed it with me.
so is being able to sync your BB10 with Outlook, and Christmas, and, and, and,.............
i preferred this to password keeper so definately looking forward to this if/when released
Very responsive developers.
Ascendo said it is coming but will not provide dates when I asked via email.
I know this is version 1 of the new BB OS and we are early adopters, that it may take some time but give us some idea so we the consumers can make contigency plans. Is it 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months or 3 years. If it is 3 years give us a conversion app to change from .dvx to .csv.
I am picking up the Z10 on Friday!!! I can't wait. I use very few apps, but one app in particular is the Ascendo DataVault. Can someone tell me if the Ascendo DataVault is on the Z10?
I emailed them today and got this response
"We are finishing up DataVault for BlackBerry 10 now, and hope to have it available in the near future. For product announcements and updates, please join our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.
Cheers,
"
I hope it is soon.

DataVault now shows up in BlackBerry World for my Z10:)
Well I have picked up my copy, it is definitely a 'droid port. How to tell, setting up sync it talks about sync'ing Android and desktop.
Yea its a droid port.
The description was even copy pasted lol... "Storm touch screens" lolz. Well that was disappointing :/
Yeah with as long as it took them to get this to market, one would think that it was a rewrite, but no, ohhh well at least it works
Think I'll stay with password keeper, native, very good app and not 7+! Used to love datavault but only advantage is having pretty icons. Can still store all my password and serial numbers which to me us the point in any such application. Secure and accessible I'm happy :o)

I think a file containing all of your passwords and personal information such as a SN or SIN needs to be secured with 2-factor authentication.

Still not able to download this on Bell Z10. Developers reckon it will need the OS update to 10.1 to work. Still getting network error when trying to download the App. Grrrr

I'm on a 10.1 leak and still having problems. I think I have to pay for the OS10 upgrade, however I don't get an option to pay. It just says download, which then errors out (with the network error).
Are others that had this for OS7 not seeing the option to pay for the upgrade?

The menu key (the vertical dots in the right hard lower corner) on my Q10 version of this app has disappeared so I have no way to sync. I have tried swiping the screen in every direction I can think of but the menu key does not return. Any ideas?
Is anybody still successfully using Ascendo DataVault?
I have an issue syncing now, and when I emailed support they were more than useless:
- Told me they no longer support BB7 devices, when I told them I was on BB10
- Told me to go to the Google Play store for the latest version (not possible under 10.3???)
- Told me to download the latest Windows version for $9.95, when I told them I am running OS X.
Any success stories in using what used to be a FANTASTIC product?
I have used DataVault on my Z10 with 10.3.2.2813 AT&T now on my Passport SQW100-3/10.3.2.2813 AT&T no issues.
I can sync as long as using USB and MUST have WiFi on for both laptop and device.
You just update the IP address on device when dialog shows address.
Syncs no problems.
If you need more information that I can possibly help, let me know.

Wait, are you syncing using USB or via WiFi? And what desktop platform are you syncing to? Finally, which version of DataVault are you using?
My setup:
- Desktop:
- Mac OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan)
- DataVault 4.6.6
- Handheld:
- Passport running 10.3.2.2836
- DataVault 4.8.2
As a test I tried using an older Mac laptop (i.e. a version earlier than 10.11.x), running DataVault 4.6.6, and it worked exactly as I thought it would. So I am hoping it is an issue with El Capitan.
Yes for some reason now I must have the USB and the WiFi for the sync to work.
I have Ascendo DataVault v4.7.2 (Desktop) and DataVault 4.8.2 on my Passport 10.3.2.2813.
I have Windows 10 but I will say that I have had to do this work around since I went to the Z10 3 years ago. Before the BB10 I could do WiFi sync but it has never been able to on BB10. Well at least for me, I haven't considered if it was the fact of my Norton blocking it as I have had Norton the same times that I used BB10.
But it's easy to do even with the USB and WiFi on for both the PC and the Passport. Just choose Wireless Sync on the Desktop DataVault and then choose Sync via WiFi on the Passport.
The dialog box pops up on the Passport, replace the IP address with the one displayed on the Desktop and hit Sync. Success should be the result. It does for me every time.
Let me know if I can be of any more help.
I used DataVault for many years (Bold 9700, Z30). Now I upgraded to Passport SE.
Developer does not support Blackberry anymore. Any idea where to get apk for old version like 4.8.2 ??
I use Datavault on my AT&T Passport with BB10 now problem. I should say no problem...except, now on BB10 I must have my Passport connected via USB, with WiFi on Passport as well as laptop. Then input the "IP address" that displays and boom synchronization no problem.

Hire is another question. I used DataVault on Z 30 which was downloaded from Amazon. Now it is not available on Amazon and company developer does not support application for BlackBerry 10. Last versions of DataVault (which is available now on the Android market) works really badly on Passport. Unfortunately, I did not save downloaded file for version 4.8.2. So, I need some how to find old 4.8.2 version which is working fine on the Passport. Any help / suggestions re: 4.8.2 ?
