With the new android runtime, I was able to get it running, except for the most important feature "search". The navigation works fine, but trying to search for a location the app crashes. Currently in the process of testing 8 different versions of the app. Will report back with findings.

As for Waze using the new android 2.xx runtime. The only version that seems to enable full functionality of the search field is version 2.4.0.xx (which seems to be java based). Now this is quite out dated, but it works on the Q10.

Version 3.5.1.4 is able to run smooth, fast and visually pleasant - but you just can't utilize the search field to perform a voice guided navigation.

I would love to know this. Just switched to a Q and no Waze! Would love to have it back.

Would like to use Waze on my Q10 w/o porting or side-loading anything. Desire a native, built for Q10 Waze app. Used it frequently on my Torch 9800 - even tho it would freez occasionally.
