    Default Pairing with Acura MDX

Anyone have a Z10 and bluetooth paired with MDX with the HandsFreeLink system?

Know someone who is having difficulty pairing to the Z10-- they called the dealer and dealer said Z10 not compatible with Acuras?

They should check online to see if there is an update for their car first. Once that update has been performed, then try to connect again...

    Default Pairing with Acura MDX

I work for a Chevrolet dealership and alot of the new phones are having trouble working with new cars. I know through Onstar they can send you updates by request

Sent from my BlackBerry 9930 on Verizon Wireless.

I just finished pairing my Z10 with my 2007 Acura MDX. The MDX has all of its original firmware. The first time I paired my device only the Hands Free option worked. after playing with my phone permissions a bit more I was able to get my address book to sync.

The bottom line: the Z10 does sync with the Acura MDX HandsFreeLink system.

I just paired both mine and my wife's Z10 to our 2012 MDX

Both phones paired easily and work great with the system.

They are talking BS because my Z10 paired perfectly with a 2010 RDX.

I have made and received calls. I have even used the bluetooth audio streaming.

Ok, I was able to pair my Z-10 with my 2012 MDX pretty easily. However, I encounter one big problem: I can not get the traffic update and the weather information. In other words: phone is paired with the car, however, the data connection did not.
My 9810 had no problem transferring data to the car, is there any Bluetooth menu on the phone that I can enable data transferring?

    Please advise!

    Edit: Typo.

How did you get it to work? I have a 2007 mdx and no luck. It gets to searching for my phone and nothing.
