I have installed a Kingston 16gb micro sd class 10 card and the Z10 will not format it, it just shows that the formatting is in process. I tries 2 different cards.. anyone else experience this? the computer will recognize it. I have an 8GB class 6 card in it now (Kingston) and it works fine.

try formatting to FAT32 using your computer and then try it in the Z10

I have a kingston 16gb right now and it worked fine coming straight from my 9900 to the Z10, not sure what the issue is, mind you, for some reason, I had to "repair" it on the bold 9900 before I could a device switch with it.

try to ERASE the memory card, and then FORMAT it using the Z10. There may be a hidden file or something that is causing problems. maybe...

This sounds stupid but try this...

1) pull battery.
2) insert or reinsert SDcard
3) insert battery

I have to do this on my 9900 in order for the sdcard contents to show up.

OH, just thought of this. it is what happened with mine. The Z10 cannot read the card if USB mode is turned on.

Go to the Storage settings and make sure USB Mass Storage is OFF.

I bought 64G class 10 and it wouldn't work until i formatted it with the Z10...>Seems to work fine now, but have only 23G on the car

I tried inserting the sd with it off ..no go.. the mass storage is not available until it sees the sd. It goes to formatting and can't get past that.
