Unstable Media Player on BlackBerry Bold 9700 from Bell Mobility

I'm having problems launching the "Media Player" (QuickPlay Media Inc) version 1.1.1. from Bell Mobility for BlackBerry 9700 because the application seems to be unstable.

In fact, it's the same version that Bell Mobility uses for all of the blackberry since 8830 that I have.

Any comments anyone ?

I don't use it (though I've experimented with it) because it seems pretty flaky. My BB 97000 has white-screened a couple of times while using it, + I don't like the way it indexes and renders cover art of my music files. I know it's supposed to be a multi-purpose media player, but it's not a mature product yet IMHO. I use the included RIM music player for my music and am well pleased with it.
