Default Question about Long Distance Calls

Hey guys,

SO I have a question about long distance calls. Lets say if I'm in position X and my friend is in position Y. If I send or recieve a call from location X to location Y, it is long distance. Now lets say my friend who was at location Y comes to location X to visit me. If I call my friend, even though we are both at location X, is it counted as long distance too?

I am asking this because my friend said that even though you are in the same area, if the other person bought the phone in location Y, it will always be long distance for me.

Yes it will always be a long distance. But if you want to pay less long distance here is what i'm doing.
I go to the drugstore, supermarket for example and buy a vox long distance call card.
I always take the $5 card, you have 2 cards, 1 at $5 and the other at $10

The advantage is you can make 2 hours of long distance in the whole Canada and USA.
When you buy the vox card it's good for 2years without using it.
When you do your first call it's good for 6 months. And when you do your first call with the card you always have a bonus of 25% more of long distance calls
For me it's the best way for long distance calls.
