Default iphone 4 on bell loyalty and retention

wondering what kind of loyalty plan you get for renewing 3yrs on bell with an iphone 4, upgrading from a razr. I know its a bb site but this is for a friend. This plan looks good, but can you possibly get it cheaper or more bonus features for the $50 plan shown below. Anyone have any experience in dealing with the loyalty and retention of bell?

Bell Offered a plan for this price with less features when loyalty and rention was called before these new plans were added.

$50.00 /mo.
100 anytime local minutes plus 100 bonus local minutes
500 MB of data for personal email, Internet browsing and tethering
Unlimited Wi-Fi at Starbucks
Bonus: unlimited local minutes for 6 months plus unlimited local night (6 p.m. – 7 a.m.) and weekend (Friday 6 p.m. – Monday 7 a.m.) minutes on a 3-year term.

The iPhone is on the new network - so right there, some of your bonuses could be gone. You may have to upgrade the plan.

And probably not much of one. My mom's been with them for 12 years now and got offered $200 off the iPhone4. She now owns a Milestone on Telus.

Research it a little... call around to the carriers and see what they are offering. I have the unlimited data right now and I realize that I can't keep it but I am gonna try and keep it.

I started yesturday, called L&R and started contract negotiations. So far, I have 100 free LD min offered to our account for re-signing if/when I do. I plan on calling back in a few days/week to see if I can get double the data for the same price...

There is no reason that I shouldn't get a little in return for having to give up my unlimited data...

Won't happen. They are trying to get everyone they can off the unlimited data plan.

And yeah there is. That reason being; they don't OWE you anything. You pay for their service; they provide that service. When they don't, they reimburse you. Regardless if whether you think you should get something for 'losing' something, Bell doesn't see it that way, and couldn't care less whether you take your business elsewhere or not.

Also the free Wi-Fi no longer matters and is worth absolutely nothing as everyone get free wi-fi at Starbucks now
