Question Data Upgrade

Hey all,

Checked the Bell website before this thread; it did not help.

I have 500 MB for my Torch which has been great, but would like to "up" it to a Gig or two or five for the PB. Anyone know what the price would be just to add that feature?

Thanks

For anyone else that may have found this info lacking on the Bell site.

$5 addition for 1 GB from 500 MG plan; have to call customer service for additional data.

Cheers

I actually just got real data for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my torch. I told Bell that Rogers was offering their corporate plan holders the 6GB for $30 (which is true) and if they could match that.

I was put on hold for about 2 mins and when they came back on the line, I was congratulated with my new 6GB.

Don't know if this will work without a corporate plan?

It all depends on who you talk to because I tried this when the 6GB promotion just ended and they wouldn't do it a while back.

Goodluck

The 6GB for $30 is compatible with most voice only consumer and corporate plans.

Bell never calls you if they are offering a cheaper smartphone plan. I had the $60 a month plan for 500mb and no text included. I was paying that $60 plus $15 a month for unlimited texting. I went into a local dealer and saw they had a $60 plan that offered unlimited texting and 500mb. Then when I bought my BB, they had a $55 plan that had unlimited texting AND 1gb of bandwidth.

They never let you know, you just need to periodically call to check. I bet you can get 1gb and more features on their current plan without paying more.
