Curve II and NO case
My wife finally gets to pickup her first ever BB today, after waiting for a week for it to come in. First she waits in line for 2 hours - ok no big deal small store busy day. When the box gets openned no case. She gets told they don't come with cases. My Verizon Tour did, and I know others (not Curve II owners) who got cases.
My question is this: Who's being cheapn Bell or RIM?

I believe RIM made this decision as I bought my 8520 from an outside vendor and it did not come with a case either, though I was able to purchase a case for the phone, a BlackBerry case at that, at the same time for just $10.95. Considering the phone was just $250.00 with no contract or obligation I thought I got a pretty good deal all the way around.

Certain Blackberry models are designated as "consumer" rather than "business" from what I recall when the original curve was released. Then, the curve and the pearl did not come with a case (holster) - they did come with a pouch, however.
The lower price point of the curve 2 (non contract price) may be part of the equation as well.
