Default Can I get a better deal with Bell?

Hello all,

I am just curious if Bell offers good voice and data plan. I still have time to switch if Bells offers a great deal and good service.

I am currently with Telus and will be renewing in a few weeks. Here is the latest deal that Telus is offering me. All for 50$ ( no systems access fees) + taxes

Voice
1) total daytime minutes 300
2) unlimited SMS (in and out)
3) free caller id
4) free evening (5pm-7am) and weekends
5) Voice mail 10
6) MyFav5

Data
1) 1 gb

Your input is appreciated

Thanks

Bell is hard to deal with without being an existing customer.

I tried adding my fiance to my account with her switching from Telus and they didn't offer me near what Telus is offering you.

Here is what I get from Bell after dealing with retentions.

500 daytime
Unlimited evenings and weekend at 5
Caller id
Voicemail
Unlimited text
100 minutes canadian long distance
500mb data
All fees and insurance ($7 added in)

For $60 plus taxes every month.

Telus should offer you nationwide fav10 if you talk to them nicely.

Holy cow that's a really good plan I don't think bell will beat that.

My plan
1)250 min day
2)unlimited after 5PM to 7am and weekends
$35
1)500mb data
2)unlimited txt in and out
3)caller I'd
4)vm 10 or the best one they got
$35

Then add system access fee and$7 spc
And they minus $25 off everything
So with tax and all $70/month
But I had a huge issuse with them and had to talk to there executive office to get that.
But it looks Like now they are getting better and better plans. So maybe time to look into a plan change I guess

I just got a plan from bell the other day (my 3 year contract was up)

200 Daytime minutes
Unlimited evening and weekends starting at 6
Unlimited sent and received messages
Caller id/ call forwarding/ call waiting/ 3 way calling
500 MB data
100 long distance minutes

All for $45 plus tax which comes to $50 after tax. But since my phone is bundled with another service from bell, its only $45 after tax.

Here's my plan... I'm getting a 9800 on Thursday and have full intentions of building a new one because this is ridiculous:

1. BB Smart Bundle 45 : Unlimited email, internet browsing, BBM, sent/received texts, NHL. Also call display and message centre (five useless spots) for 45/month

2. Unlimited Canada to Canada and Canada to US calling (incoming/outgoing) between 6pm and 8am for 45/month.

3. Uber 30 Extended Hours - 36M : Call waiting and three-way calling for 30/month

about 150 CAD per month with all the other fees lol. It's hard to let go of the unlimited anything but my current phone doesn't have wifi so I'm waiting to see what that'll up my data count to per month and then change to fit my needs. Any suggestions before I go and change everything in a couple days?

sigh
