Smile Blackberry 40 Social Plan

Hello Everyone!

I'm considering on getting a plan for my new Blackberry Bold 9700 and Im thinking of going with Bell. I saw that they have there "Blackberry 40 Social Plan" and it's $45.20 with taxes. Will I be charged with any other fees like monthly system access fees, or will I just have to pay $45.20 when the bill comes in?

Thank you all so much, I hope you can help me with this

There are no system access fees or 911 fees charged by the company. Some provinces have a 911 tax (Quebec is 0.40$ for example) and there could be a 2$ fee if you take you bills by mail instead of online. Otherwise, all you pay is the plan + any options you may want to add.

Be aware of the SPC Smartphone Warranty. It is $7 extra a month. I wanted to add it but I have heard of some cases where it showed up unexpectedly on someone's bill. You should ask a retail store about whether they will charge you or not.

Only way that $7 shows up is if a rep adds it during the activation process. Sadly some reps will do this to make more bonus on their commission. Sad really, since it kills client rapport and loyalty. Just pro-actively check the Feature section of your agreement when your rep puts it infront of you to sign. And make sure to ask him/her to go threw it in detail. And definitely ask questions if they arise. If they truely are a good rep, they will be more then happy to answer any and all questions, as "silly" as one may think they are.

oh, and under the plan, features, phone price, talks about SAF and 911. It will let you know what provinces have which 911 fee if at all.

I went with the 500 MB for $10 more a month, I had the Unlimited E-mail & Instant Messaging for a month and it sucked, putting the $10 more a month unlocked GPS and bunch of apps didn't work on wi-fi because of the data lock.
Now these apps work on wi-fi since I put data on.
