Activating Bold 9700 from eBay

Long time viewer, first time poster.

I recently purchased a Unlocked Bold 9700 off ebay(Canadian seller) and currently have a pearl 8130 with Bell.

My question(s) is: Will activating my new phone just require buying a bell sim card since the pearl doesn't have one or will there be any other difficulties?

Should be as easy as that.

Put a sim in and it will work.

Ah thanks for the quick reply. It won't matter that I still have a yr. and a half left on my contract will it?

No when you go and buy the sim they should activate it to you account so that you can use it. You are just changing phones.

They are happy as long as you keep paying them.
