the first article is clearly wrong, as the iphone5 price at carphonewarehouse is £509, not £499 as stated by SA
also phones4u are selling the black Z10 at £549.95 not £540 as they said.

if they cant get 2 prices that are one websites correct, how can anything else they write be believed

These prices were communicated Orally as they had just coming from HQ. One Phone4U quoted me 580GBP, also please send me a link where you saw that and I will correct it. I cannot find it on CPW site?

Ah, the difference seems to be that the black iPhone 5 is £499 while the white iPhone 5 is £509 at CPW. Which one it defaults to depends on how you navigated the site to get to an iPhone page.

While I commend your excellent articles on Seeking Alpha, I don't think this is that good of an idea - you're going to annoy the **** out of the retailers for wasting their time and not buying any phones, and they will start to cringe every time someone mentions Z10. You might even hurt sales...

1) How many phones for release day?
2) How many phones have been in stock so far?
3) How many sold (or left to be sold)

If people do inventory checks, we need consistent questions!

Of course, if you just let anyone here get numbers for you there will be no credibility.

I had called 3 stores locally here in Vancouver suberb after it was released in canada and they were all sold out except one store had 1 BELL ( carrier ), I had posted this earlier. I do not have latest stats but I will make few calls tomorrow and send you msg. Hopefully you can compile the list from everyone and share with us. The other suggestion is that one of most bear analysts of BB Peter Misek and Eric Jackson changed their mind few months ago and openly going after shorts. They may have more info, connections that can shed some light on this. I heard both analysts in 2011 and 2012 bashing BB but now they are after shorts. In interview with BNN network Peter quoted that his office is getting calls from short hedgies as they are pissed off after his upgrade and stock went up..

NYC resident reporting for duty! I'll be on the ground for channel checks as soon as it's released in the US.

Did pre-release checks yesterday at 3 ATT stores and all were aware of the Z10 without me mentioning the name. They are indeed on track for a mid-March release, with one employee quoting me 2 weeks as the timeframe.

I am pretty much expecting a march 31 release date. I think logistics are a big problem at BBRY due to unexpected demand. WIth all the current demand and trouble keeping up, how will they have phones available for the USA release?

True nobody knows for sure, but from my conversations it sounds like they're being told by corporate to expect mid-march. One employee was pretty adamant that their store was expecting shipment then. Of course BBRY has the final say and could certainly delay it further...

Why not wait until BBRY releases real numbers, not made up or conjecture, at the end of March.

That's the only honest source. And sold, not shipped.

Of course feel free to post on Seeking Alpha. When they post something "anti" BlackBerry you will be all over them anyway. Sigh.
