    My friend ordered a new otterbox case for his Iphone 4s. The case is brand new, but you can tell the packaging doesn't seem to fit perfectly, there is a label that shows it's for the Iphone 4/4S, but underneath that label it said Iphone 5

    What they are doing is using the Iphone 5 packaging and selling Iphone 4/4s cases.

    It seems otterbox overestimated sales for their Iphone 5 otterbox, and have resorted to using the packaging to sell the more popular 4/4s models.

    Just an observation ...

    It could mean a lot of things, including a packer using the wrong box, but taken with other news, it is something. Making connections between seemingly disparate pieces of information is what analysis is all about.
