15.45 (-0.57) right now pre-market...Are we going to see a pull back today ? is it because of some bad press from the U.S lately, like the NY Times one ?
Only 70 thousand shares traded. We did over 100 million yesterday lol
I hope so. I want to get some cheaper than it is now.
Yes but but isn't pre market sentiment and performance indicative of how the stock going to perform for the day ?
It's known as a headfake, and you have to be very careful as it's the easiest way to lose money. I almost never trade within the first 30 minutes of opening on non-news. Let the stock stabilize first.
Watch this clip. Jim Cramer explains how it works:

Headfake for sure. There's been days where BBRY was +6% in pre market and we finished deep red by then end of the day on no news.
We've had over 23% gain in the last 3 trading days, let the stock pull back a bit. This is perfectly normal and expected.
How much of a pullback do you think? Looking to buy some more shares.
That's a lesson I learned a long time ago.
How's the premarket look?
~ $0.50 down into opening bell, will watch it closely. Watch for bear flag and act accordingly with your plan.
Probably should have sold my calls yesterday then. Maybe a buying opp then for shares I think if it pulls back
Perfect time to add. Will be waiting to see what direction it goes.
Me too lol
Judging from yesterday, anything under 16 is a buying opportunity on no news.
no changes in the long term game. promised myself not to touch my position :D
edit" looks like resistance formed at 15.90, if broken we go up to play around 16,25. if not, we'll see a pullback
edit2: happy with that :D
Just went Green!
Long term we're mostly all very bullish. Debating only the short term results here really.
positive territory now TSX
:P
I meant to say GREEN
There you go gents. That's what a headfake is and it's also the reason why I don't usually trade in the first 30 minutes of opening bell.
headfake complete :)
wow, i almost sold my position @ 15.75 ..so glad i didnt...A Big Thanks to BThunderW for pointing out the HEADFAKE :)
ha! beat me to it. I usually follow the same rule, although I broke that rule on that giant opening dip last hursday
