You could substitute anal-list with anal-linguist and achieve a similar conclusion.

I think that's plan B. If they are able return BlackBerry to profitability, which they appear to be doing, there would be no reason to sell. I see a licensing deal on the horizon

You need to understand one thing, and one thing only, not gonna happen!!!!!!!!!!!!
A sale like this would require approval from the Canadian government, not gonna happen. Canada has seen a large drain in its tech sector and is very protectionist in regards to Blackberry. Unless the company is on the verge of total meltdown, and maybe not even,
because they would provide a bailout." The future of Blackberry is in there hands and no body else's" and to think otherwise is like the nice man said previously is anal-less -liss or whatever term you prefer to use............................................... ....."period"

Ok has anyone pointed out that IT IS NOT THE GLOBE AND MAIL SAYING THIS. IT IS SOME BS ANALYST.

Mike walkley or something. Someone posted his track record. He's right 49% of the time. That is bloody well less than flipping a coin.

It's still the correct name until the name change is made official at the shareholder meeting.

What analyst did they quote? I don't want to give them a click for such poor reporting.

Which brings up the point of "What is reporting"
Used to be digging around, obtaining sources, verifying sources statements with independent secondary sources...etc. Now its...copy n paste.

    What about analrapist?

I seem to recall a year or so ago a similar article suggesting that BlackBerry would be split up and sold and yet it has yet to occur. Perhaps long-term BlackBerry may be better off as strictly a software developer and let others take the risks on the devices. Who knows what may end up happening with Android, especially if Google continues to turn into the sort of company they were supposed to be the antithesis of. If Google stops playing nice, they risk losing customers.
