    Nothing is going on, really.

Just people playing with their money.
Thanks morlock_man. Yeah, I was looking at the charts posted on here and then tried to do the same thing but I'm not quite grasping the concept and can't get the data on the chart right. So, I've lots to learn.

with these wild swings it is really hard to get a good entry, one that does not get overrun by the price....

    mashable.com/2013/02/15/blackberry-z10-samsung-galaxy-note-ii

Positive article on the Time shift experience offered by the Galaxy Note and the Z10

"Kudos to Samsung for being first out of the gate with a time-shifting camera in the Galaxy Note II, and its face detection is definitely superior to the BlackBerry Z10. But in every other respect, the Z10 blows the Note II right out of the water. Photo quality and image editing count for a lot, but by far the strongest feature of the Z10's Time Shift is the overall experience. The first time you "dial" a good expression on someone's face to make a bad photo beautiful is a total wow moment."

Not the same since yesterday was a reversal into a rally within the first few minutes. Today it was declining through the first hour or so.

As much as I hate seeing the price drop, I like the buying opportunities since I am playing long. If it cracks $14.30 I am expecting it to drop lower and set up a buying opportunity for those looking to pick up more.

is this a case of; the price went up, touched the 5-dma ( and a little over in pre-market ), then went down towards the bottom of the channel to confirm support before, hopefully, rallying up above the 5-dma?

Here is the days trade so far:

Quickly ......, we opened up as expected, hit a bit of resistance and backed off to test the trade, RSI is at 50 right now and good, we simply sold off to the uptrend line, you know, that one where you are suppose to buy the stock. We bounced off it and headed right back to the one week downtrend line that we failed on earlier. We are sitting on it now deciding which way we are going here. It looks normal, no big deal here, I would like to see it close above that red line and set us up for next week. And so, a close above $ 14.63/shr is considered a bullish close today and that shouldn't be anything special to do right in here. Look for the stock to pop when we get above $ 14.63/shr and for it to test the lows of the day if we don't. This is normal trading and not something to worry about. A drop below the uptrend line is your focus here. We clearly weren't able to trade above the 5-dma thus far but this is a very long day and we have to kill some time in here. This is far from over today. GL

Unless you're really experienced (I doubt it regarding this comment), you shouldn't consider hours as a viable timeframe. Nor days. Nor weeks. Count in months, at least.
    Stay calm.

When I bought in, the next day I was down over 10%. I haven't traded at all. Just been riding the waves. Currently, according to my bank, I'm up 32.27% and it's been less than 3 months. Of course at times it's been in the 60%+ area but hey, it's still possitive so I'm good.

i haven't really been following this thread that much, but how is morganplus track record? i don't doubt he is very knowledgeable, but if you guys plan to take any advice over the internet please be caution. day trading is financial suicide, not much different from gambling from a casino.

Very true, but then again we'd all like to buy in at the most opportune time. Dang crystal ball is all cloudy today and my magic 8 ball keeps saying it's uncertain right now. Bottom line is you own stock in a great corporation. You are in fact a part of Blackberry.

He isn't giving any advice as to what or how to trade. He is simply giving us all information and providing some explanations as to what is happening. We all have warned many times, that you should not trade based on what you see on an internet thread, himself included. Like many others here, BB is the first step I've taken into the stock market. Thanks to him, and others on here, I've learned a lot and been directed to many different areas for which I can do my own research to understand what is going on here.

With all that said, to answer your question, he's been pretty good with his acuracy.

I've been in for 2 months and have a significant amount of shares...I wouldn't say I'm a trader...more of a value investor. I still see a lot of value in this company and I'm confident enough in my decision that I don't even look at the share price until the end of the day. I trade based on fundamentals and so far from everything I've been reading as far as news goes, this company is headed in the right direction. I have a short-long term window on my investment...I think I will be double, if not triple my investment by the end of the year once a few quarters of sales get pushed through.

Those of you who are buying and stressing out immediately thereafter when the stock goes down 20-30 cents need to realize this.

OK, sorry then I misunderstood. My mhhhooooohhhh, again !
But these days, finding the valley seems to be hard. Personnaly, I'll probably get some more shares next week (hopefully). The way I see it is to obtain a position where my avg meets my expectations against the future. This means somewhere between 13 and 15 as of date. As I can't trade instantly, I'll set an order with price and term limits and if it get filled, I'll be happy . If not, I'll wait ...
