Hey all --

Each time that I restart my phone -- whether via battery pull or after installing a new app -- my homescreen wallpaper returns to the default AT&T image. I change it after the phone boots up to a picture from my memory card, but each time I restart the phone it does it again.

Anyone else experienced this or have any potential fixes? Other than this issue, the official OS6 is running fine on my 9700, but this is pretty annoying.

if you let it go on its own, will it change back to the correct image? it may be having trouble reading your memory card upon bootup.

I recently got a Bold 9650 from Verizon with OS 6. Every time reboot, like the original poster stated, by battery pull or powering down the stupid default Verizon wallpaper comes back up. It's starting to get annoying. Any ideas? This is my 4th BB and I don't know what option could possibly be doing this?

Go into the media folder, hit the menu button and select media options and change the built in memory limit. I have mine set to 32MB and it doesn't change back to the default. That should fix it for you.
