Serversurfers Bold9900/9930 walls....

I hear you. I only had an issue with one of my blackberry devices a while ago, the 9700. It was with wind mobile...and long story short, it was a defective unit. Went back to the store and got a new replacement. With T-Mobile being as big of a company it is also in partnership with RIM it's hard to believe they keep giving you the short end of the stick. I can stand by your side, and I can feel your frustration. It can only get better from here on out right lol

Thank you for your word of comfort... I really appreciate it... I´m a a looong-time client of t-mobile (renamed to "Telekom" in Germany) and I´m very satisfied with there service, ex-gratia payment, kindness and last but not least with there net! They try everything to satisfy me (resp. my daughter), but they are helpless cause of the incorrect software. So they try to certify and release as fast as possible an upgrade. The Last upgrade could fix some bugs (maybe also my "reboot-prob"), but it uncovers an older prob of the Bold9900: to high power usage. So they beg me to wait until the next update to OS 7.1 which should be available in the next weeks...
I really love BlackBerry since years and I love the perfection of this canadian crafts. So I´m really spoiled and my excessive claim expected a continuation... The OS 7 is however only a (under the pressure of an overslept market) quick build OS with a lot of glitches....
In my heard I want to stay and I´m really a BlackBerry-addict (I´m a BORG- you want never see me without my RIM-equipment!) and I prefer a physical keyboard as only BlackBerry could offer it, but I´m really pissed off...

My heart sinks...

I will see what will happen and decide it in the next weeks... If Telekom snatch it- I will stay and will relaunch this thread with new walls and a lot of emotional comments to all the world and his wife...

Did you get these images from google? and did u also re-size them so they would fit on the 9900/9930?

I will store your PIN... Thanx! In this moment I´m very busy, so I wont find the time to cultivate contacts in a proper way. My daughter and my girlfriend hope for some undisturbed holidays (means NO BlackBerry in my right hand!)... beside this- my english is horrible!) But I`m honored of your offer... and I´m really interested...
I pick up the walls from different Internet-Sides and of cause I have some fovorite sides... I copy them and work in to different ways: either I crop the section of the pic I like and resize them with the CB-wallpapermaker, or I resize theme completely. Sometimes I post also screenshots I´ve made with my bold (perfect crop and resize in one step! :-)

Today my daughter gets her fifth (!!!!) Bold9900... and I cant believe it- it works nearly perfect... nearly! No prob with the soft-reset (alt/right shift/del) but still no auto-reboot after a battery pull.... There is still the need to press and hold the "hang up button" for around four seconds to restart the device. But I hope for a very fast roll out/release of the certified OS7.1 from my provider Telekom which shod be able to fix this glitch... If my mood allows it I will relaunch this thread in the near future...

Wow.. Fifth time around?? That takes a lot of patient and devotion for BB. Hopefully it was all worth it.. Congrats..

Cross my heart- if there would be other smartphones from other manufacturer (with a similar awesome physical keyboard) available, I would throw BlackBerry into the garbage bin within one second! But my daughter WANTS her first BlackBerry (as her father had preached since years)...

LoL... I agree with you totally.. If there was another phone that have the awesome keyboard just like 9900/9930, then RIM would be dead by now.

RIM will have a sudden death- Samsung or a similar powerfull manufacturer will purchase RIM and the desaster-duo (Lazaridis and B.) Will replaced by some professionals (for my sake koreans)... I hope, that Samsung (or similar) will continue building devices with physical keyboards... I will switch the sides as fast as possible! :-) RIM is annoying in its incompetence... In the near future I will post some new walls- until I have sold my 9900... :-)

LOL I actually laughed out loud for a good 3 minutes, I understand your frustration...RIM's CEO's have already stepped down, but are still on the board. I hope the new CEO brings something new and exciting to the table.

RIM has now a german leader (hey- the most hated "german leader" came from Austria!) and in my opinion he is a sissy.... As far as I now he joines RIM since four years. I´m sure, he is adapted by Lazaridis and co. to continue the L&B-Idiotoligy... He came from Siemens. Siemens still produces washing machines, elektricmotors for locos (which will be destroyed by powdersnow in the german highspeed-trains ICE last year) and similar hardware. But cross my heart- nobody would expect smartphone-know how by Amtrak or STIHL (gas chain saws)...
His statements are Heins ketchup- same sauce as before... without chili in it and gluey... He seems viruous and maybe only a puppet of (still in the background) the L&B desaster duo...

We will see... We germans are world leader in bending steel girder and building good machines, but things with high tec components (smaller as a washing machine) seems strange to us... alike humor...

Thank you so much for your kind words... as I promised (resp. announced) I will continue posting 9900/9930walls... My daughters Bold runs well and my bad mood about RIM is reduced for this moment... So I´ve planned to relaunch this thread with new walls today... But that was only MY plan... The daughter of my girlfriend has decided to replace my plan through hers: she will get her baby in the next hours... As a "non-married-but-children-loving-step-grandfather" I have to hurry into the hospital resp. so called birth-house and beeing support for she and her veeeery nervous mom... :-) The Baby will be a mix of Poland, Germany, India and Southafrica... I hope it will be a girl... (I think- I need support, cause I´m a lot more agitated and full of pleasant anticipation as the mother herself)
