Who's gonna case his/her 9900/30?
So I was thinking today at the beach wether or not I'll get a case for my 9900. My Bolds are usually cased (900/9700/9780) but I do sometimes go out without the case.
Not sure about this one, I think it's too beautiful to have a case for it, what do you guys think? - 07-30-2011, 10:04 PM #2
My 9930 will go naked!

I will likely get the BB OEM pouch case with a good screen protector. no more holsters.

leather holster for sure! its stylish, provides protection, and I can pull out and put away my berry quickly. not to mention using the sleeper magnet to put the berry to sleep and save battery life, and take advantage of the customizeable notifications. (you know, normal profile when out of the holster, but vibrate when its in)
I love the OEM BlackBerry holsters, I always get one with every new berry.BlackBerry Z10 + Playbook 64GB, Bold 9900, Bold 9700, Curve 8900, Curve 8320, Blackberry 7290

Holster but tucked inside the pants. Won't risk my device while out tearing up the expressways on the bike.

Pocket pouch when in pocket. When using my device I want it to be naked. Way too sexy to cover up

Not sure if ill case it (if I do it will definitely be one of those slim cases), but ill definitely have a screen protector on the device.

Probably just a screen protector for me. Maybe use the OEM holster whenever I wear shorts

No case for me.

Probably no case. I see business guys on a daily basis and those leather pouches just look silly.

Mine already lives in a holster! I need to handle 60+ calls a day plus more email that I want and I have found a holster give me the quickest access to my device. Getting the phone out of my pocket while driving down the highway is not my idea of easy. Pockets are nasty.
I do understand that more and more are wanting to make a fashion statement and a holster just does not fit into your life style!
That is why we all have a choice. - 07-31-2011, 09:12 AM #19
Naked
I keep my phone in my Shirt breast pocket cases add weight and size I don't need. I MIGHT put a skin on it to protect the body from basic scratches, I'm unsure.oops...

Otterbox Commuter - had that model on all my prior devices. Drop the phone, pick it up, and you are on your way. No whining, no crying......

For me, a case is a necessity. I will definitely have a screen protector. I found a BlackBerry Soft Shell case for my Bold 9780 and love it. Hopefully they'll have these for the 99XX series, as well.
