I DJ and party (a lot), so my phone is CONSTANTLY around smoke. Now, I don't smoke, I hate coming home smelling like smoke, but my phone also takes a hit. I always try to wash and scrub my case, but the smell never seems to leave. Anybody have any suggestions?

Try Febreze. Wash the case well, wipe it dry, then mist it with extra strength Febreze and let it air dry. I spend a lot of time in pubs shooting darts and I have the same issue.

soak it in fruity smelling shampoo and a little water. it really works. it gets any smell out of silicone and makes it smell fruity and nice.

A friend of mine has a silicone case on her curve. She would go out and smoke and then touch the bb and wonder why it always smelled smoky. Transfer! These are some good ideas to tell her to try when it gets too smoky smelling.

i think its because smoke easily stick on silicone.. try get a different type of protection such as zagg or a leather case

The soaking worked to an extent & the febreeze helped "cover" the smell, but once it wore off, the lingering smell came back

When you go dj at a club or party put it in a ziplock baggie and then when you leave take it out and throw the bag away!

Might try this, take a ziploc bag and put some fresh coffee grounds in it. Lay your skin in bag overnight. See what have in the morning. I use coffee in my cab when I get a truck that has been driven by a smoker, and to get awful smells like tire rubber and such out of my trailers prior to loading food-grade items.

or just buy an extra silicone skin use the one you have now for work. then switch to the other one when you get home and keep the current one seperate.

Why dont you try putting a Bounce Dryer Sheet inside the skin, that might help absorb the smell.

Don't forget that, especially in a club/bar environment, smoke _will_ get into the guts of your BlackBerry. You really won't be able to remove it completely.

That was one of the first things I thought of..."why's this dude worried about a silicone case and not his BB??
