pocket pouch with a commuter case

tried searching but haven't found anything relevant.

does anyone know if the Blackberry Leather Pocket Pouch for Torch 9800 will work with a 9780/9700 with an Otterbox Commuter case? looking for a pocket pouch, not a case with a clip.

Ah, I see. The 9800 should still be too tight for that.

Do you really need one with OtterBox? Anyway, 8700 is still seems like the answer:

I think that 9800 is too thin. Isnt there a pocket pouch for 8700 anywhere?

The 9000 pouch will fit, I used this setup for a while.

I've used a Commuter with an 8700 holster since my 8310 days. That holster has seen a lot of phones. But I still don't understand why OP needs a case AND a pocket pouch. You still have to hold it.

He's probably going the "can't have too much protection" way. And come to think of it, there is the magnet that puts the device to sleep and helps on saving battery life...

Can't say I blame him, but I thin it all will be just too bulky for a pocket... I'd go for the belt hoster... If shipping the good here wouldn't cost me two arms and half a leg.

Basically, I need something to protect the screen. A screen protector won't won't stop the screen from cracking if something is pressing against it. I wear coveralls so the pockets are big and there is no belt to hold a holster, that's why I'm looking for a pouch.

I'll have to find a 9000 pouch, thanks belfastdispatcher.
