Really....? That would be great if you're right....I asked the guy there at sprint if it would and he said he didn't think so but I didn't think he was to bright cause he got into it with me saying my phone was the tour not a bold....even after I showed him my BB where it said bold he didn't believe me lol....so either I'm one lucky person with the only Bold 9700 or I got ripped off and got a fake BB lol....thanks again for the help/info....

it probably will not work... 2 different device, 2 different designs... i suggest you get online and buy one specific for your device

9600 is the tour 9700 is the bold the 9600 is more like the 9000 cause its wider

they sell the OtterBox commuter and defender cases for the 9700 at at&t corporate stores.
