Is there a safe alternative to the case opening tool for dismantling a BB?

Worked fine thanks, now have a 'new' black bold thanks to new bezel etc.

Were in the UK did you get the bezel plz also was it difficult to replace?

i have a case opener tool and don't even use it. It is easier to gently bend out the section with the usb port and headphone hack and gently push the board out by the screen.

Got it from eBay (UK) and it was easy to fit following the youtube (cnn.cn) video - just work slowly and over a table or something so that you don't lose the tiny screws. You will need a tork screwdriver to release the screws but they are readily available on eBay as well.
