b4 i buy a car charger for my pearl

Is all of the bb have the same charger port?I heard they do but I have a pearl now but plan on upgrading in November. Just don't want to buy for the pearl and have to get another for another bb

You are good to go, all BlackBerry use the same mini USB port.

The Storm uses a micro... I don't know about other BBs but it's not a mini on the Storm, it's a micro. From pics it looks like the Pearl does use a mini.

Early BBs, the Pearls, 83xx, 88xx use a mini USB port, newer models have the Micro USB, which is the new standard.

with the exception of the storm...all blackberries are compatible w/motorola chargers....I had the pearl...if u get one let it be $5 from the fleamarket

I bought the igo charger so if/when I get a new BB I just have to switch the tip of the charger.
