8300 Cases?

My 8300 is due to arrive on Monday, and I'd like to get a case. Does anyone have a list of what's available?

I would stick wiht an OEM case if you are looking for a belt clip / leather. They are made to fit perfectly and put the device in a sleep like mode. Otherwise, the ruberized "case" / skins are cool too. I have been looking, but these are the only ones I have found that are really cool. ANy other suggestions would be cool.

Thanks for the recommendations. I checked Seidioonline, but they don't have any listed yet for the 8300. I'll check back soon, I am sure there will be cases o'plenty soon.

I am not sure what case comes with the US version but the case that comes with the UK version is very cool and wouldnt need replacing imo

I did not receive a case either. tmag2005 wrote a review that highlighted the case and was disappointed that at&t did not provide one. However I believe that the US version of the 8800 shipped with a case, while other versions did not.

I asked an at&t rep why the did not include a case with the 8300. He basically stated that at&t put pressure on the device manufacturers to stop including cases because it was costing at&t accessory sales.

I don't know that his response is totally accurate, but it may have a ring of truth to it.

The case that came with the 8800 was very nice. I went and bought the same case for my 8700c after I returned the 8800. Now I will be looking for the right case or skin for the 8300.

I am sort of upset that ATT didn't include any case at all with it.I alreay got some little thing inside the space between the outer ring og the trackball and the menu button part

I can't decide if I want to go naked and not be anal with my BB being pristine or if I do want to be anal and buy a protective yet restrictive case. Any thoughts?

P.S. I do think it's absurd there wasn't any kind of sleeve or case included with the 8300 in the U.S.

eShop is great, and very trustworthy. I also really like the Seidio cases, and will get one from them as soon as they have one available, but I'm guessing that it will be at least a month before that can get one out to production since the model was just released.

my solution for everything is always EBAY..they always have variety of everything accessories and prices as well. You could never go wrong with that.

i agree, ebay (and amazon) have some good stuff, though you gotta be careful, some sellers sell spinoffs and low quality products.

i'll just wait for the seidio "RUBBERIZED COMBO" for this model
already emailed them for an ETA on this, hope they have an answer.

It's been tough finding a case. I gave in and ordered a skin and the leather case from BB. I also like Seidio cases. Vaja and Sena cases are great if you don't mind spending the money. I didn't want to wait though - it's so exciting getting the new device and then you have to wait for accessories to follow

seidio guys replied to my email regarding curve cases
this is what the guy said
