Cheap band websites: what are they?
Who can advise some site where newly created band can promote its music? As we have founded our band, but we still do not know how to make it popular. One of my friends surfed the internet and came across very useful website artistecard.com. With the help of this site we created our EPK (Electronic Press Kit), FB and iPhone Apps without the help of expensive Web Masters and Designers. By the way, EPK costs only from $5. Maybe someone knows some other websites, something like reverbnation, something cheap and affordable.

A great site to start up with is sound cloud great way to put your music out there.
Also I would suggest to apply to put your music on iTunes dont get other companies to do this for you as they will charge you.
YouTube is great when promoting music, I would suggest adding "previews" to your YouTube with a iTunes/soundcloud link as this will limit the number of pirated downloads from converting full songs from youtube to mp3.
Plus facebook page, bebo, myspace all that jazz for marketing.
Hope this helps.
