there are 2 ways to do that

    1- do reinstall of 10.1
2- find a .bar file for bbm and flash it back

    regards

It's doing some weird stuff. Right nowit lists a whole bunch of 'message sent to xxxx' messages in the BBM/hub view. I didn't send any of those messages. Plus it won't allow me to delete them. Well I like channels actually. But I'd rather a working stable bbm. So all of that getsme tothe following questions :

    1. Do I simply sideload this bar file to replace bbm channels version?
    2. Do I need to delete bbm channels version first? If yes, how??

    Tia. Appreciate any advice here.

You don't need to delete anything. Just sideload it, it will overwrite your current BBM, and all your channels will remain intact.

first, thanks for the reply. Ok I don't get something. How will the channels remain ? Isn't this an older version of BBM without channels ?

I think what dustmalik means is the groups....not the channels.

Ok I see. Well when I d.l. the signed .bar from the link : http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar posted it doesnt give me a simple .bar file to use - but instead a whole bunch of files. Which one do I choose ??? I must be doing this wrong. I've done sideloads many times so it's not like I have no idea what to do - but inthis case, that is the case. Thanks for any help.
