    Default Advanced interactions in 10.3

    Hi @all,

for me the advanced feature do not work or I don't understand it right.
Did anyone test the silent when laying on the display mode?
For me it does not work. I think it should silent the device when laying on the display but it doesn't.

I know it's a beta! I only want to know if it is only germans or if it is a bug or if I am to stupid to use!

    Greetings from Germany

I know there is a WAKE ON LIFT mode. The screen comes on when you pick up the phone. I don't know about the other way tho.....

Wake on lift is good until the phone is locked. If you pick up your phone when it's locked it goes to unlock it. I'd rather it go to the lock screen.

    I'm using the 10.3.0.1052.

    @ TeckerMan:
    how did you test it?
I was calling my phone laying on the desk:
    It rings.
When i put the phone on the display, on the desk and I call it:
    It rings.

So if it only silence the phone when I flip it while it rings, it don't make any sense for me.

The options don't silence the phone, they turn off the ringer as the calls come in, as long as you flip it over. Hence the name "Flip to Mute"

Each advanced interaction has a description detailing how it works. Follow that, it's pretty simple.

    To be onest:

I use the phone for business. So it is locked. I have to type the password to silence the phone within a meeting. That takes forever. It would be cool if laying the phone on the display would silence the phone. I understood it in this way ( in german and english version)
So I think the extremly good idea is not used the best way. Because I can silence the phone by taping on the display while a phonecall gets in. So no benefit here. Hopefully BB ads this feature! *fingers crossed*

Thanks. One can figure this out with some experimentation, as I did. I wasn't sure how it worked at first either
