Do these apps actually function 100% as they would on an Android machine? I know on my Playbook the sideloaded apps were okay but a lot were really buggy and a lot of features didn't work right. Anything that required access to the file system or certain API's was wonky. What's the experience with BB10? The same? Much better? How is battery performance using Android apps? I know they killed my Playbook...
Current : BlackBerry Z10 (Telus)
Current : BlackBerry PlayBook 16GB (PBOS 2.1)
Next : BlackBerry PlayBook 16GB (BB10)
BlackBerry by choice.

I will be trying out a lot of new apps on the weekend. If you have any requests just leave them here.
PLEASE post an apk file if it is a lesser known app.

I can double confirm that, Pinterest works as well. Currently able to load it and running on my Z10.
However, I can't get Flipboard to work completely. I was able to load it up but the images wouldn't load and it would keep saying "Downloading Failed". The version of Flipboard I download is 18.104.22.1683. For those that got Flipboard working can you check what version you are using and post it?

Seriously considering getting rid of my Android phone for a Z10. One app I will need is the Nest app for controlling my Nest thermostat. Has any one tried to sideload the Nest app? If not, can someone please try it and report back (I guess you will need a Nest thermostat to confirm it actually works though)?

Side loading is a cool feature! But let's not over due it now. I personally would love developers to create native apps for BlackBerry. Don't get me wrong I have side loaded on my PlayBook as well as on my Z10, but I hope developers don't get lazy and just leave things like that. BlackBerry10 is new and has been refreshed. We as Team BlackBerry should not accept "Leftovers" per say. We need to get treated like other OS's. Let's keep the push for Native Native and more Native apps.

I gave it a shot and still the same problem. The link points to Flipboard 22.214.171.1243. To be specific on whats happening, the app loads fine, I can even login with my account into Flipboard and I can read the articles but the cover pictures to each article won't load. There a "refresh" icon which I can click to try to reload the images but it when I click it it says "Download Failed". Seems weird because I have no problems downloading new articles.
For those that do have it working, anyone want to check their version? Am I the only one encountering this problem? Sorry for making this complicated.
Just tested all these MYSELF and they work... they are the same ones i use on my playbook
