The Android port works. It has to be side loaded. Hopefully they will make a native app.

    Look in here

List of sideloaded apps working on BB10!

This is a list of all the working side loads and get the ddbp program for your PC.

Then go to the sideloading android ports forum for the how to its pretty well laid out

I have loaded Kik and it works great

KiK is in court with BlackBerry because of patent infringement sooo i doubt it will come as a native app to BB10

Even the OS7 version you couldn't get it through app world and had to download it through the KiK website directly

    Works as a sideload!!!!!

    Just sayin....

Use my link above or use the wonderful search feature on here and there is all kinds of information.

And yeah you probably won't get a native Kik, but that's the beauty of bb10, you can sideload

While not perfect and switching your noodle between android gestures andBB10 gestures is a bit frustrating you still get to use a favourite app on BlackBerry win win me thinks

Would kik side loaded be better than what's app?

I'm afraid what's app might such the juice out of my batt just like it did with my old 9900

Just a quick question. I've sideloaded kik, but I'm having a problem sending pictures with it. They won't actually send, they show up as the thumbnail preview, but not the full picture. Any help? Should I download a different version? (I've only sent pictures while using wifi)

I have the same issue. My friends say they can see the thumbnail in chatrooms but can't open the images themselves.

You cant sideload any app using BBDP, there's no such thing.

    Obviously they meant DDPB.

@sarbastkemor: I did with DDPB, and had the same issue at first. I figured out that it was because I didn't have Link on my computer (new computer, first time connecting my phone). Once I downloaded the Link software, it worked fine.

Download vnBB10, start it and set your dev mode IP address in the appropriate place - if the IP listed doesn't already match - type in your device password and click connect, drag/drop your bar file, wait for the install ok.

The Android sideload was terrible for me, laggy, not fully functional (I can't remember details sorry) so I removed it :/
