    Default BB10 App request/question: Video sharing/streaming

    Hey everyone,
With BB10 coming, I wanted to see if there was a possibility to have an app like this developed or if there is already something. 2 or 3 PlayBooks with Videos/movies and be able to share the video between the remaining PlayBooks. Kinda like how Dual car DVDs can be setup with a wire so one acts as the primary DVD player and the other one as a secondary clone screen and vice versa. Of course I would assume Wifi would be the only option to sharing content.

    any ideas?

    Cheers

The first and closest thing that came to my mind is Nexus,

Introducing Nexus - Direct file transfer, Playbook to Playbook

Other than this, content sharing is rumored to be baked into BBM on BB10. If this applies to video as well as .ppt, .doc, etc. remains to be seen.

Nexus looks pretty cool. The idea is similar to what I am looking for. But instead of transferring, it would stream. So if I can fill up a 32GB PlayBook with 1 set of videos and then fill up another 32GB PlayBook with a different set of videos, then I'll have a variety of videos.

    Interesting.

I know that the PB + BB10 support DLNA as a server but not DLNA as a client.

This is doable. I can't promise anything (busy with bb10 launch) but it is plausible to do!

oh man. I'd pay good bucks for an app that is able to do that.
