Question Will AT&T ever enable UMA??!!

I would love to have the abilty to use UMA, any plans on making it available in the future?

Well I agree you dont have to compete with T-mobile since their coverage is laughable compared to AT&T, in my area at leat. There are some considerations though. 1 - wouldn't using UMA "free up" the cell tower? So instead of me using a cell tower to talk, I would be using my home wifi connection...thus relieving some of the strain from the volume of voice traffic. 2 - at my work place, the signal can be very weak at times and it is my understanding that using UMA through my works wifi will enable clearer voice calls.

Thats why I was asking and thank you for responding

If your phone supports voice over data via Google Voice or Skype, you are more than welcome to use it.

Contrary to what Apple says, it's not AT&T that had any say-so about Google Voice and the iPhone.
