Visual Voicemail works the same way whether you have the iphone 4 or the torch..
it's a Carrier (AT&T) feature..

This was a very helpful thread. I never used visual voicemail with my Bold 9000, so I figured I'd try it with my Torch. AT&T had to provision my phone for VV as well, but once they did it everything as fine.

I am left with a couple of questions however...

Can voicemails still be access through the normal method, or is VV the only way to access them?

How does one go back to the regular way of receiving voicemails if that is desired?

Visual Voicemail is free for the iPhones as well as 3G BlackBerry phones, in that there is no extra charge for it. It's added by default for iPhones, but can be removed upon request. For BlackBerry phones, it can be added and removed as desired as well.
