? for a tech... VZW 9530 to AT&T?

I have a 9530 to spare after my wife upgraded to a 9650. friend I work with is needing a phone for her son. His old BB wat a Tour (I think). What would need to be done to the phone for her to have it up and working under AT&T. the storm is originally VZW. Need reply asap!!!!!!

Your wife's Storm needs to have its PIN released from VZW, and it needs to be unlocked in order to be used on AT&T. Once that is done, this thread tells how to get everything working.

Hey, all you need to do is have the phone unlocked which you can do through a number of websites for about 5 to 10 bucks. Then you will set the network to gsm and 2G, it will not work with 3G but will work with 2G. Then you will be able to use the phone with ATT,T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier.
