Smile At@t service with storm2

Ok..newbie alert here!!!

What can I expect from at@t using the storm 2? Are there going to be any major hassels? Do I just insert my sim card from my old phone? I have the data plan? Will that function? Can anyone else using at@t give me an idea? Sorry for all the questions but forgive the newbie. We were all newbies once!!!
