Default T-Mobile to launch Bold 9900 on 8/31

Since there is no end in site for AT&T, I may have to grab the T-Mobile version and unlock. I think I may know the answer to this but how will the "4G" T-Mobile play w/AT&T's "4G" network? Thanks.

Just be patient. I do NOT recommend jumping on a phone at this time of year. Wait until the bugs are worked out, and more LTE towers go live. You can ask customer care if any LTE towers in your area are scheduled to be active in the next X number of months. Keep in mind that all dates are tentative, and subject to change with the breeze.

How many markets do they plan on having LTE live in by the years end?

Being in a rural Iowa town (North of Omaha, NE) that got 3G less than a year ago I'm sure I have time to up my contract and live off H+ until we get LTE here.

You have to ask customer care. They can tell you if there are, or if there are not any planned LTE activations in a given area in the calendar year 2011. Again, specific dates are written in the sand.

If you're going to jump on a unlocked phone, look into a Rogers unlocked phone. I do believe they will take At&t HSPA+

Don't buy unlocked phones. Buy locked phones, and get them unlocked on your own. You'll save hundreds in some cases.

We all know with AT&T's devices they are Bug Free, so just be patient. You'll save money this way.

Missing the fact that AT&T hasn't overseen the design and engineering of phones since likely 1993.

The phones are certified by the manufacturers to be free from defect for one year, and certified by AT&T to at least be able to make and receive calls on the network based on the specifications provided by the manufacturer.
