Default At&T corporate discount

Can you apply AT&T premier discounts to an account opened through wirefly? If so, would I have to wait for six months?

I ask, because I could get a free bold through wirefly with a 2 year contract. My theory is that I could then sign into my AT&T premier account and apply the discounts to my newly opened plan...

What do you guys think?

I think you may get fired, but try it out anyway.

Spoke with both Wirefly and Lets talk today, and both confirmed that I would not break my contract obligations with them. Also, talked to an AT&T rep today and he said it shouldnt be a problem.

Hope it works, because I can get a free bold/8900 plus an At&t plan worth 89.99 for 72.99.

What do i get... the bold or the 8900?

I would go with the Bold. It is still the top of the line imo. If you want a smaller form factor and 3G isn't a top priority, then the 8900 would be perfect for you

That seems to be what everyone says. I dont know what that means to my specific case however. I'll me using the phone in Bloomington, IN the majority of the time (not sure if At&T 3G works there). So, basically if I can acess 3G i'll go with the Bold, becuase i have huge dumb fingers.

Anyone know if I can utilize 3g in my location?
If I cant, should I just go with the 8900?

Default Bold

I have a friend who's working at the blackberry company and recommends the bold much more highly than the curves. He is working with the 8000 models out of the curve series, along with a bold and various other phones. He says the curves feel really plastic-y to him and the Bolds feel more solid (like they'll hold together in an accidental drop) and the Curves are a 2G network... A lot slower to work with the internet. The bold is 3G, which means it's quite a bit faster in accessing the internet. I asked him about comparing the software, and he says that you can't really do that because they're completely different operating systems... so they can't really be compared. I've been looking into which one to buy, and his recommendation was for the Bold.
