I just searched that topic on a search engine and it looks like they are going to start rolling it out nationwide in mid April. My only thing is, you have to connect it to your existing home broadband network. So what are the advantages? I do not have 3G where I live, but I do use my home WIFI on the 9700. So I don't understand it. Why pay $150 for something when you don't really need it, unless you do have a poor signal issue that is resulting in poor voice calls.

I guess what I am asking, is 3G faster than my home WIFI connection? (which by the way is 12MB/s and 3G is 3.6MB/s)

ps

I am in no way affiliated with AT&T or any other carrier, I just saw this topic and had to make a post. I am interested in hearing a rep's point of view on this.
