Switching to AT&T

I am interested in switching to AT&T and getting the iphone 3gs. I was wondering when i go in to get added onto a family members plan what documentation i need to successfully port my number and switch over. (aka Billing documents and so forth)

I would call the actual store and speak to one of the reps, they are eager to have a new iPhone customer-believe me.

Here is the list of what you need when you port.. and all are from the carrier you're porting from:

Billing Name
Billing Address
Social of Account holder
Account Number
Billing Password (many people do not use a billing password)

hope that helps. You'll also need the Account holder of the ATT account to go with you to add the line because authorized users aren't allowed to add or cancel lines of service.
