Default Phone

I just upgraded to a 9700 last month. My old phone is a 8310 which i called At&t and got the unlock code. My question is a friend of mine wants to buy it from me. Can it be used on Verizon ?

All AT&T devices are GSM. VZW is a CDMA carrier. The SIM cards in VZW devices such as the Storm and Tour are for use on a GSM network, not VZW's network. In the USA, a VZW device will work on VZW's network even if the SIM card is removed.

The Storm or Tour from VZW could be used on AT&T's network; however, no AT&T device will work on VZW or Sprint.
